About the Author
Nor Sanavongsay began his multimedia career early before graduating from Northern Illinois University. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1998 with an emphasis in Electronic Media. With over eight years of experience in the multimedia field, he has conceptualized, designed, and developed many award winning projects. While working with Encyclopedia Britannica, he designed and developed a few websites and CD-ROM projects that had high visibility and recognition. While at Thinktank, LLC, he helped developed many innovative interactive projects. One of them being a touchscreen kiosk (Motorola Kiosk) for a Motorola and GM partnership. The Motorola Kiosk helped Motorola showcase new computer and satellite technology features to GM cars. Nor's role in the Motorola Kiosk was to design and develop the interface and create custom graphics and illustrations. The other kiosk (McDonald’s Kiosk) was developed for McDonald's to be used as a quiz for their employees. The McDonald's kiosk was developed to help train McDonald's employee about cleanliness and customer service while working at a McDonald's restaurant. Currently, Nor runs a private design company, nawDsign, LLC which offers a multitude of different design services. Examples of his work can be found at his website nawDsign.com.
