Every year around this time for the past 30 years or so of my life, I reflect a bit. Reflecting on the life I’ve lived thus far. This year brings a world of change; My daughter turns seven, I moved my family from the Midwest to the West Coast. Career and family life adjustment has been a bit stressful to say the least, but I’m grateful for what I have.
A decade from now, when my daughter is home visiting from where ever she’s moved to and would rather hang out with her friends… I’d reflect and think back to this moment when she still believes in fairy tales and we’d sit and draw and make believe together. This is the moment that I’d wish for every Christmas. This is the kind of moment I wish to be timeless.
